The Shoe Files #59- "Look, Elvis"

I have had a marvellous time in the sales the last few weeks. I was feeling sort of proud to have resisted shoes.. until I fell over this lovely pair. I have enjoyed red shoes in the last few years as a spot of colour in an outfit. Lately though I've been wearing more blue and had been thinking I'd enjoy some blue shoes- well now I have some. Bright, fun, soft, comfy, flat. All good things.




It's time to put a brake on the spending for a while again. I added up my sale extravagances and went "eep" a bit. It's OK, but I shouldn't keep going at this rate. I have mostly only bought things I've been wanting/needing. Lots are replacements for worn out or substandard things. However on my Wed day off, I escalated to buying things from the "forbidden for now, have plenty" list. It was only a pair of linen tea towels, so pretty harmless but let's not carry this spending inclination on. So in a similar sentiment to how the shoe files started, I shall list my purchases to remind myself of the lovely new things I have- as a help in reminding myself I don't need more. Don't feel you have to read it.

Note- almost no clothing here except smalls of various kinds. There will be sewing!
-also I managed not to buy any more sock wool! nearly, nearly did.
