My tent is starting to look like a real one. This cap sewing job is not easy. by about 1/3 round I was getting the hang of it though. Now posting and about to pour a gin and tonic while I recoup before tacking #2. Tonic is important when one has so many mossie bites eh? medicinal even.

Stuff still to do on tent

Essential:

Poles

-Charge drill (in progress)

-set nails
-set eye screws
-clean joiners
-galvanise joiners

 Leatherwork
-caps
-cringles- 7/18 done, 6 by of the lovely doushkasmum
punch holes

 Pegs- Find and buy

Later
-
learn and do splicing for the loop ends
-Peg bag
-Pole bag
-Finish woodwork on two more poles for sunshade option
Then on all poles
-sand wood
-undercoat wood
-paint all black
-design and cut stencil
-paint stencils
(I was amused by the broad spread of votes on my paint poll. I think I 'll go with doushkasmum's suggestion of blackity black but with some sort of design painted on in gold)
