5 jars rhubarb and strawberry sauce. Rhubarb from my garden, strawbs evicted from the freezer where they had taken refuge as leftovers after my birthday party last year. It's sure a pretty colour.

the pan scrapings got added to my first, and possibly last, banana smoothie for ages.
Also this morning:
-I've put on the next brew! About time too 'cause I only have 4 bottles of ale and 5 of dark lager left. This is another English ale, like the last one but with 12 drops more bitterness. I think the grain might have been a bit darker roasted too? I await glooping with eagerness. I wonder if it will take so long to ferment as the last one? Starting density=1.045
-my contribution to tonight's edibles is a blue cheese dip for which I have yet to extract and crush the walnuts
-a tray of lemon juice ice cubes from feral lemons gleaned from my back lane. Perfectly fine lemons, they fall from my neighbours tree.
I was supposed to prep some windows for painting. Hasn't happened yet. Maybe after a coffee and a sit. Maybe Sun morning.
