I am so very pleased with the result! It seems however that gold/brass curtain rods are rather out of fashion. I shall have to go to one of the lovely restoration hardware places. How sad you say? well, I do love an excuse to visit but I had hoped to get rods and curtain up today. Instead the 8foot ladder will have to decorate the parlour for rather longer.
