I made the little grey bunny below for my BRAND NEW NIECE. Little miss I is only a week old, I haven't even seen a picture of her yet. Given I didn't know which flavour of niephing would be delivered, I made a very neutral, naturalistic bunny. The main yarn is a lovely soft alpaca/merino. The ear linings are pure angora.

When [personal profile] catchmyfancy  met little grey bunny, she played with it a LOT. I had to ask for it back to keep it pristine enough for the gifting.

Later I was sick and bored and sick of my sock knitting. catchmyfancy said MAKE ME A BUNNY. So I did. Only it had to be from stash as I was too sick to be traipsing about to shops. So below is the elegant black stash bunny that resulted. The bling was simply required- is even proper swarovski crystal. Conveniently this was finished in time for the lady's birthday, and I am delighted to report that she likes it!

LIKES it?

I ADORES IT!

Plus all the Choristry peeps got very excited when I was showing her off in t'pub after their concert as their concert uniform is black with a flash of silver, and they have claimed she is Choristry Bunny and their new mascot. I kept a VERY tight hold on my bunny after that.

But I think she may be Cora (or should that be Chora!) Bunny now.
