what a beautiful day!

these astonishing yellow things self seeded under one of my roses, and have been multiplying each year. I think they are freesias? but bigger and brighter than my heavenly scented old fashioned little pale ones.

I've finally put a few things in the ground that have been languishing in pots for months. One had fallen over, come out of it's pot and was busy desicating itself. It's had a soak, is in the ground and watered with seaweed solution. Fingers crossed. The dirt was enhanced by Indi poo (thanks to mskilian) and home made compost including worms. I must say I was delighted to find worms in the beds when weeding last week. Says better things about that soil than I expected!

A few other things have been potted up and I made a tiny start on pruning the poor sad passionfruit vine- but I need a much bigger bin!
