These are soft leather dancing shoes with a highly flexible midsole, from Bloch. I bought them for colonial dancing which I only ended up doing a few times. The shoes however are really comfy and last night I thought to make use of them as house slippers- win. They make me feel dainty and nimble. They also remind me of the extended time as a teenager when I wore my old ballet shoes to death as slippers. Once apon a time, as a child, I did maybe 3yrs or so of ballet classes. I'm glad I did, I was never going to be a ballet dancer but some of the graceful movement has stayed with me, at least in my head.
