Should I celebrate or be ashamed that the shoe files have reached their half century? Hmm, considering I confessed to owning greater than that number before even embarking on this project, I'm leaning towards celebration. But since it's a solitary project (with your generous support and approval), I shall celebrate by drinking some red wine in a solitary fashion to go with these red shoes.
I lurve Django and Juliette shoes. you may have already concluded that. These were the first of their shoes I aquired, I think very soon after moving to these southern parts. So what is that now, 6 and a half years ago I suppose. Anyway. this pair is amazingly comfy. They are a bit masculine, really a trouser shoe, they just don't work with skirts despite their shapeliness. They have been worn lots and lots. Often they have accompanied me on trips to the city involving much walking. This Jan just gone, they went to the Bowl and got completely soaked while listening to the MSO. I am delighted they survived that experience.
I apologise for the rather drunken angle of the pic. I took it before I started in on the red, honest. I actually always take a bunch of pics per pair and then choose the most appealing one. This was easily the best despite the dizzy making angle.
