These rather pretty things were bought to replace #31 after they betrayed me by splitting their soles. I thought these would be great- smart, low, interesting and dainty. Annoyingly, they turned out to be much less comfy than they seemed in the shop. They fit nicely down to the ball of the foot but the toes are very squeezy. Pain causingly squeezy.

A year later, in considering whether i should get rid of them, I noticed that there buckle is functional. Hmm I thought (for several weeks). Then proceeded to cut slashes in them and pierce a new hole for the buckle pin. Hoorah the buttonhole chisel!.

Can you tell? Ok, I should have made the central slit a bit shorter. I do hope this ammendment makes them wearable.
