Belatedly catching up on posts for the rest of my holiday sewing. First week back at work doesn't leave me enough brain in my own time to write more than a few words apparently.
This is frock #2. Fabric is heavy linen bought on a shopping trip a couple of years ago with mrsbrown. This sort of thing was what I pictured making right from laying eyes on it in the shop. This pic was before the hem was done I now realise. Hemmed, it now sits just above ankle length.

It has keyhole neckline and a similar slit for sleeve comfort.

That there facing is cut from altar linen, bought from Church Stores in Siddly rather a lot of years ago. Hence my previous silly name for the frock of "holy paisley". (and look, fangrenayills!)
